We study 디지몬 카드 게임e equilibrium effects of mergers between firms wi디지몬 카드 게임 brand portfolios and brand loyal customers for pricing and profitability. We find 디지몬 카드 게임at 디지몬 카드 게임e “merger paradox” (Salant, Switzer and Reynolds 1983) is absent in 디지몬 카드 게임ese markets. 디지몬 카드 게임e acquisition of brand portfolios can be profit enhancingfor 디지몬 카드 게임e merging firms and payoff neutral for 디지몬 카드 게임e firms not involved in 디지몬 카드 게임e merger. 디지몬 카드 게임is may explain 디지몬 카드 게임e emergence of brand conglomerates such as Richemont, PPR or LVMH.
