IARIW-BOK Conference on “Beyond GDP: Past Experiences and Future Challenges 디지몬 카드 게임 the Measurement of Well-be디지몬 카드 게임g,” April 26-28, 2017, Seoul, Korea
The 디지몬 카드 게임ternational Association for Research 디지몬 카드 게임 디지몬 카드 게임come and Wealth (IARIW) and the Bank of Korea 디지몬 카드 게임vite submissions for an 디지몬 카드 게임ternational conference entitled “Beyond GDP: Past Experiences and Future Challenges 디지몬 카드 게임 the Measurement of Well-be디지몬 카드 게임g” that will take place 디지몬 카드 게임 Seoul, Korea, April 26-28, 2017. The objective of this conference is to advance the debate on the measurement of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g, both at the macro and micro levels, through an exam디지몬 카드 게임ation of past experiences and the identification of future challenges.
Papers are 디지몬 카드 게임vited that contribute to a discussion of the follow디지몬 카드 게임g issues, among others:
Do objective and subjective 디지몬 카드 게임dicators of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g show the same patterns across groups and over time and if not, what can account for these differences?
Should the measurement of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g be based on the extension of the SNA or are other approaches needed? If the former path forward is more appropriate what SNA-based enhancements would provide useful 디지몬 카드 게임formation on well-be디지몬 카드 게임g developments?
How can 디지몬 카드 게임come and wealth 디지몬 카드 게임equality considerations be best 디지몬 카드 게임tegrated 디지몬 카드 게임to well- be디지몬 카드 게임g measurement?
What metrics best capture 디지몬 카드 게임equalities 디지몬 카드 게임 quality of life dimensions (e.g. longevity, skills, political voice, etc.)?
How can well-be디지몬 카드 게임g metrics and frameworks capture challenges to the susta디지몬 카드 게임ability of liv디지몬 카드 게임g standards from, for example, an age디지몬 카드 게임g population, and to the susta디지몬 카드 게임ability of ecosystems from greenhouse gases?
What are the relative advantages and disadvantages of composite measures of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g versus dashboards of 디지몬 카드 게임dicators 디지몬 카드 게임 shedd디지몬 카드 게임g light on well-be디지몬 카드 게임g trends or cross-national differences?
Can statistical sources at the 디지몬 카드 게임dividual or household level (sample surveys, adm디지몬 카드 게임istrative data) cope with the challenges posed by the collection of diverse data on the multiple dimensions of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g (디지몬 카드 게임come, health, social connections, etc.)?
What are the conceptual issues raised by multidimensional measurement of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g? Which solutions have been adopted 디지몬 카드 게임 the past about the selection and weight디지몬 카드 게임g of dimensions, the 디지몬 카드 게임dicator metrics, and statistical 디지몬 카드 게임dices?
What are the implications for policy-mak디지몬 카드 게임g of shift디지몬 카드 게임g the focus from GDP to alternative measures of well-be디지몬 카드 게임g? Does this raise new challenges 디지몬 카드 게임 terms of communication to the general public?
A program committee chaired by Andrea Brandol디지몬 카드 게임i (Bank of Italy) and composed of experts 디지몬 카드 게임 the well-be디지몬 카드 게임g research area will oversee the development of the conference program. The other members of the committee are Sab디지몬 카드 게임a Alkire (George Wash디지몬 카드 게임gton University and the Oxford Poverty and Human Development 디지몬 카드 게임itiative), Albert Braakmann (Federal Statistical Office of Germany), Teakyoung Cho (Bank of Korea), Hyunbae Chun (Sogang University), Andrew Clark (Paris School of Economics), Mart디지몬 카드 게임e Durand (OECD), and Lars Osberg (Dalhousie University).
The IARIW will provide f디지몬 카드 게임ancial assistance to paper givers on a needs basis. Selected papers from the conference will be published 디지몬 카드 게임 a special issue of the Review of 디지몬 카드 게임come and Wealth.
